About
SOFAHOOD is an Atlanta artist that identifies as a Black and Afro-Latinx; visibly and loudly queer; chubby “fupa”-having; passionate leftist; generally hairy yet short-haired; agender yet woman-identifying individual. Through all of the moving parts of her identity, SOFAHOOD creates content for the marginalized. Her work is known for its circled bits, its controversial combination of pink and red, and its constant inclusion of the traditionally excluded. Through loud colors and even louder subject matters, her art focuses on the complex feelings and ordinary moments of the unheard.
SOFAHOOD has created commissions for LivingWallsATL, adult swim, Target, and mailchimp, to name just a few.
