Steve Seaberg’s Life in Art, Age 9 - 93
An Inward and Outward Journey

As a young boy, I watched my mother draw, my father and grandmother write and my uncle play the piano. I wanted to do it all. My view of art was first radicalized on a trip to Mexico in 1950 where I stood and watched David Alfaro Siqueiros paint “the Torment of Cuauhtemoc” and realized art could be about anything including death, sex, love – even a good laugh!I met my wife and art collaborator Ronnog Seaberg. We were married in Morocco where we pledged to a life of art based in America. By 1970, we made our way to Atlanta which we called home ever since. We worked on art projects together up to her death in 2007. I continue collaborating with artists to the present day.
