W8ing4UFOs is a shape-shifting Atlanta-based songwriting collective. Their story-songs explore a range of subjects from betrayal and Old Testament justice, to Georgia artist St. EOM, and the use of blindfolds with firing squads. Taft’s lyrics ricochet around the songs as cello, viola, electric guitar and keyboard melodies weave in and out, coming together before tearing themselves apart. Beats, made from found objects, sticks, and a blue bass drum keep the party moving on and on and on.
