Performing Live Electronic Music Workshop
Featuring talks/demonstrations from Eric Flohr Reynolds (VLSC Records), Dustin Ragland (Ableton) and special guest Max Ravitz (Patricia, Moog Music)
Brought to you by the Atlanta Synthesizer Club, Ableton, VLSC Records & Face of Knives Productions
After a long hiatus the Atlanta Synthesizer Club is proud to announce a return to in-person events with a workshop brought to you in partnership with Ableton, VLSC Records, and Face of Knives Productions at Eyedrum. Featuring special guest Max Ravitz (Patricia), as well as a collaborative presentation from Eric Flohr Reynolds (VLSC) & Dustin Ragland (Ableton). The topic is performing live electronic music. Both talks will explore some of the techniques, concepts, and basic building blocks that you need to create electronic music live. Dustin and Eric will talk about working with Ableton in combination with external instruments in a variety of forms (including working with live audio, midi, and CV signals). Max will take us on a deep dive into the Patricia live set, walking us through what he uses in a live context vs studio setting and how it all comes together.
